Every piece begins with an intake review.

When an item is submitted to REALOVE, our team collects the key information needed to evaluate it properly, including brand, category, condition, materials, included accessories, and any available supporting details such as receipts, authenticity cards, dust bags, boxes, or serial information.

At this stage, we also assess whether the item is aligned with REALOVE's quality standards and resale criteria.

Before moving forward, each item is carefully inspected for overall quality and resale readiness. Our team reviews:

• Materials
• Construction
• Stitching
• Hardware
• Labels
• Logos
• Zippers and closures
• Interior and exterior condition
• Visible wear
• Signs of repair or alteration
• Overall presentation

Authenticity is one of the most important parts of the REALOVE process.

Each eligible designer item is reviewed with close attention to the details that help support authentication, including craftsmanship, materials, hardware, stitching, markings, brand-specific construction, serial numbers or date codes where applicable, and any available supporting documentation.

For selected high-value items, REALOVE may also use additional authentication tools or specialist review processes to support the assessment.

Only items that meet our authentication and quality standards are approved for resale.

For that reason, condition transparency is essential. Our team reviews and documents the item’s condition so buyers can better understand what they are purchasing before making a decision.

Depending on the item, we may review:

• Exterior condition
• Interior condition
• Corners and edges
• Handles and straps
• Hardware
• Soles and heels
• Fabric or leather condition
• Odour, stains, marks, scratches, or signs of wear
• Included accessories

REALOVE is supported by the trusted garment care expertise of Dove Cleaners.

When appropriate, selected items may be professionally cleaned, refreshed, restored, or prepared before being listed for resale. This may include garment cleaning, leather or fabric care, deodorizing, pressing, minor repairs, or presentation preparation, depending on the item and its needs.

This care process helps each piece look its best while preserving its original character and value.

Not every item requires the same treatment, but every item is reviewed with care.

Once an item has been reviewed and prepared, it is documented for the online platform.

This includes product information, condition notes, measurements where relevant, pricing, category placement, and visual documentation.

For high-value pieces, REALOVE aims to show the details that matter most: front, back, interior, hardware, corners, handles, labels, serial details where applicable, and any visible signs of wear.

The goal is to help online buyers feel closer to the in-person inspection experience.

After the review, authentication, condition assessment, and care process are complete, approved items are listed on REALOVE.

Each listing is designed to help buyers understand:

• What the item is
• Why it was selected
• Its current condition
• What details are included
• How it has been reviewed
• What makes it valuable

This is how REALOVE brings trust, transparency, and curation into the online resale experience.

We understand that buying luxury online requires confidence.

If a buyer needs more information before purchasing, our team can help provide additional details, photos, or videos where possible.

For high-value items, this support helps recreate part of the in-person experience online.

If you would like a closer look before purchasing, you can ask our team for more photos or videos.
